Aaron Bert Jorgensen passed away on June 11, 2026 at the age of 64 from a rare and aggressive form of cancer, Cholangiocarcinoma. He was born on December 26, 1961 in Vernal, Utah to Ervin Wendell Jorgensen and Mina May Kendall Jorgensen. Aaron was honorably discharged from the Army National Guard on August 1, 1990. Aaron married Julie Scott on October 10, 1992 in St. George, Utah. Less than one year after their marriage, Julie’s grandmother (Nellie Iverson Cox) suffered a stroke which left her unable to walk or talk. Each day after work, Aaron would drive to the home of Julie’s mom and carry Grandma Cox from her bed to a recliner so she could sit up for a few hours. Aaron would return a few hours later and carry her back to bed — this he did for the next eight and one-half years. Watching the gentle way he cared for her grandma was a confirmation that Julie had married a truly good man. Aaron worked as a mechanic for passenger cars and trucks, as well as semi-trucks, for over 30 years and then spent another 8 years as an over-the-road truck driver until a cancer diagnosis on his 62nd birthday caused him to retire. Aaron was a man of many talents - he could fix or build anything and everything - and was always willing to share his talents with others, however, he did not want any recognition for his acts of service. We can’t even begin to count how many vehicles he fixed with no expectation of payment or anything else in return.

Julie and Aaron raised their three sons (Landon, Bronson, and Keaton) in St. George and Washington and all three boys graduated from Pine View High School.

Aaron is survived by his wife, Julie, of Washington, Utah; sons Bronson (Brynna) Jorgensen of Pleasant Grove, Utah and Keaton (Brooke) Jorgensen of Washington, Utah; Grandchildren: Dustin, Paxton, Cole, Denali and Jeter; brother, Wendell, of Vernal, Utah; sister, Hillary (Tony) Jenne of Vernal, Utah and sister, Kimberly (Cory) Caserta of Ogden, Utah. Aaron is also survived by Julie’s brother, Del (Becky) Scott of Fruit Heights, Utah and her sister, Holly (Chad) Burnett, of Draper, Utah as well as Aaron’s children from a previous marriage, Jessica and Kyle.

Aaron was preceded in death by his son, Landon Jorgensen, along with his parents, Ervin and Mina May Jorgensen, and mother-in-law, Roma (Elwin) Jones.

At Aaron’s request, no formal funeral will take place, but please feel free to join us for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at the Washington Utah Riverside Stake Center, 3167 East 1140 South, St. George, Utah. In honor of Aaron, we will be sharing memories (open mic), complete with a light dinner and his favorite beverage, Pepsi.

The family appreciates the care provided to Aaron by Dr. Lincoln Nadauld, Intermountain Cancer Center and Dixie Hospice Care, as well as their good friends and next-door neighbors, Johnathan and Elissa Liddle Family.

If you would like to honor Aaron, consider toasting his memory with an ice-cold Pepsi, snuggle a baby, or, most importantly, perform acts of service for your neighbor or someone in need.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Dixie Hospice Care, 352 East Riverside Drive, Suite B3, St. George, UT 84790.
