Carol Ann Ruge

Carol Ann Ruge, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away at the age of 80 on December 17, 2024, at her home in Enterprise, Utah. Carol was born in Santa Paula, California on June 26, 1944,to Neva and George Joerimann. She spent many years working for Offshore Crane where she met her husband, Brad. They left busy California for a quieter lifestyle. After living in various places, they bought property in Enterprise, UT where they settled into the community, built a home, planted trees, and offered refuge to animals. Carol loved her daughters and grandchildren of whom she was very proud. She was often seen showing photos to people in town and sharing stories about them. Carol had a true passion for animals. She rescued many dogs and cats over the years giving them a loving home. Carol was best known for her sense of humor. No matter how bad a situation, she could always make you laugh, making you feel better. She was a one-of-a-kind person and will truly be missed. 

She is survived by her husband, Brad Hodgin; daughters, Rhonda (Clark) Smith and Randi(Jon) Redditt; grandchildren, Skylar Smith, Logan Redditt, and Jade Redditt; sister, Linda Romano; nephew, Todd Wright.
