After high school graduation, Charles left his beloved rural farm home to explore out west and later settled on the east coast. He moved between the states of Montana, Utah, California, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Idaho; some states more than once. Charles never met a stranger. He loved making and visiting friends, close family and extended family. He loved driving the big rig truck, as well as driving his family van filled with us kids and grandkids, heading out traveling to family reunions, etc. Charles loved to garden and was proud of his blueberry crop. He enjoyed watching both old-time Western movies and History channels of all kinds. Charles possessed strong patriotism as he was a very proud American, proudly flying the United States of America flag in his yard. Charles loved to tell stories about his adventures and life events. In recent years, he called himself a “listener”. Charles learned a lot from life and shared with others. Charles was well-loved by those who knew him. Farewell dear Charles, Until We Meet Again, May God Bless You and All of Us. Charles loved us and We loved him.
