Christopher Bryan Horne July 24, 1968 – April 4, 2026
Christopher Bryan Horne, age 57, of Washington, Utah, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026.
Chris was born on July 24, 1968, in Phoenix, Arizona, to O. Charles and Janice C. Horne. At the age of four, he moved with his family to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he was raised and later graduated from Western High School in 1986.
Following high school, Chris spent a year at Brigham Young University, where he was on the Men’s gymnastics team, before honorably serving a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Uruguay. Upon returning home, he continued his education at BYU, before choosing to follow in his father’s footsteps and earn his pilot’s license. Chris had a deep love for flying and found great joy in it, though he ultimately set that passion aside to focus on providing for and supporting his family.
On June 30, 1994, Chris married the love of his life, Jennifer. Together they built a life centered on faith, freedom, and devotion to family. Chris was known for his strong work ethic, unwavering dedication to those he loved, and his testimony of his Savior, Jesus Christ. In 2006, he and his family moved to Southern Utah, where they continued to grow and create lasting memories together.
Chris’s greatest joy in life was his family. He loved them deeply and took immense pride in being a husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Jennifer Horne; his five children: Brooke (Dillon) Judd of Denver, Colorado; Andrew (Vanessa) Horne of Payson, Utah; Callie (Chase) Earnest of St. George, Utah; Braden Horne; and Connor Horne; and four beautiful grandsons, as well as his mother and 3 sisters.
Services will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 11:00am at the LDS chapel located at 1867 S Washington Fields Rd. Washington, UT 84780. There will be a viewing held just prior from 9:00 to 10:45 am. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to help with expenses. If you would like to donate,
please Venmo @Jennifer-Horne-10.
