Christopher R. Ray Teter passed away at the young age of 46 on May 27, 2026 at his home with his faithful support dog, Buddy by his side. Christopher was born March 1, 1980. He was a blessing to his mother, Avis Sanders and father, Charles Ray Teter. Christopher was born in the state of Oregon, the youngest sibling of three children (sister Cheri M. Sanders, Gene Leroy Sanders Jr. (passed October, 1992) He has a surviving brother, Steven R. Teter (Jen) nephew Mikey Haug, nieces Ashley Hurlburt, Emily and Chloe.

Christopher was loved by many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Christopher has a surviving son, the joy of his life, Gavin Jeffery Gene Teter. Christopher loved being Gavin's soccer coach, life coach, fishing buddy, singing partner, as they fought fires together, traveled together He loved teaching Gavin how to make prime rib (their tradition). They were very dedicated to one another and the love showed. Christopher was a great dad, loving son, awesome brother funny uncle and he had so many friends he deeply loved. He never met a stranger. He loved being an EMT, fire fighting, Safety Manager and most of all, families.
