Dorothy Ann Larkin

Dorothy Ann Larkin, age 81, passed away at her home in St. George, Utah on June 20, 2025. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th at noon at the Utah East Stake 6th ward building in St. George. There will also be a viewing from 10-11:40am at the same location.

Dorothy Ann Allen (Larkin) was born October 27th, 1943 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Marion and Florence Allen. She grew up in Michigan and La Crosse, Wisconsin, where she met Stephen Larkin, her eternal companion while he was serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. On his invitation, she moved to St. George where they courted and she married him in the St. George temple in 1965. She celebrated her 60th anniversary with him this year.

Dorothy lived a life focused on faith in Jesus Christ. She also had a love of learning which led her to work as a librarian for nearly 35 years, including serving as the children's librarian at the Washington County Library. She loved to meet new people and often spoke to people while shopping or eating at restaurants. She made a lasting impression on all who knew her because she truly exhibited charity to all.

She is survived by her husband Stephen, her 8 children (David, Robert, Scott, Kathy, Lisa, Crystal, Stephanie and Michelle), as well as most of her grand and great-grandchildren.
