Jennifer Etta Molina (Marshall) was born on September 28, 1959, in Libertyville, Illinois. She was a beautiful, bright, and big green eyed little girl. She was the youngest of five children; a sister, and three brothers. She was very proud of her sister's intelligence and her brother's military service and athleticism. In her early years, she enjoyed dancing ballet, tap, and jazz in Chicago with her brother Barry and cheering on her siblings' accomplishments.

As a young woman, she and her family moved to Southern Colorado after the passing of her father in 1966. She loved her mother dearly and her mother passed in St. George, UT, in 1991. She learned to love a very different lifestyle in Colorado, filled with hard work of the land, horses, and trucking. She loved animals and they loved her. Honestly, she loved everyone that she came in contact with. She loved to sing and loved music. She loved working in nursing and cooking up a storm for everyone and anyone. She loved serving others and was loved by many because of her tender mercies. In Colorado she met her husband, learned to speak Spanish, and lost several children throughout their marriage to miscarriages. She wanted more than anything to be a mother.

In 1984 she moved to St. George, UT while pregnant with Mario. She was introduced to the LDS missionaries and was baptized shortly after as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. When she was finally blessed with a son, her life was changed with many health difficulties. For nearly 40 years she would deal with hardships that most would be upset about. Jennifer took on these challenges, most days, with a smile on her face and with love for those around her. As a single mother, she was always in fight mode and very rarely did anything for herself. She focused so much of her time on her son and those around her. With her and her son, it didn’t matter if it was muscle cars, motorcycles, sports, or music; she loved it and wanted more of it with her son!

She loved attending the temple, whenever her health permitted. She loved to garden and a ripe tomato was probably her favorite thing to eat. In recent years, she found someone to love her and care for her. Robert has been a wonderful loving person that she will always cherish. She loved to cook, serve, and decorate her home for holidays. She loved watching her son experience new things. She loved him and her grandson unconditionally. Becoming a grandmother was her greatest accomplishment. Her grandson carries on her maiden name, Marshall, as his first name. Jennifer may not have had the largest of families, but what she lacked in quantity of family, never lacked in love and pride of each of them.

Jennifer passed in the St. George Regional Hospital on November 4, 2026, at 5:37am, while being comforted by her son and sister. Most people that she came in contact with would say that, “She was so strong! She was always smiling! She was such a wonderful mother!” They are correct! We are all going to miss you, Mom!

Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother, Etta May Marshall and her fathe,r Alan Graves Marshall. She is survived by her son Mario Molina, her grandson, Marshall Molina, Robert George, her siblings, Suzanne Marshall, Brad Marshall, Jonathan Marshall, Barry Marshall, and nieces and nephews, Matthew Marshall, Alesha Jenks, Nathan Marshall, Brad Marshall, Brian Marshall, Johnny Marshall, and Jennie Witt.
