Jhana Deane Christensen passed away on Nov. 25, 2025 at her home in St. George, Utah. Jhana was born in Salt Lake City on Dec. 10, 1965, the only daughter of Emil and Terry Swindle.

Jhana was a proud veteran of the Army National Guard, having served a tour of duty in Iraq during Desert Storm. Upon returning home, she earned a registered nursing degree at Salt Lake Community College. She worked in this capacity for the rest of her life, starting with many years at the University of Utah Hospital in SLC and ending at the Southern Utah Veterans Home in Ivins. She was a very caring person who enjoyed nursing her patients. She loved sharing stories with those in her care, especially her fellow veterans.

Jhana met her husband Travis while skiing at Snowbird. They hit it off immediately and spent the next 20 years together, moving from Salt Lake City to northern California, then to Arizona, and finally back to Utah in St. George. They had a very happy life camping,

boating, skiing, dining out, and just being together.

Jhana was devastated by the death of her beloved husband from cancer in April. She is also preceded in death by her parents, and her two brothers, Ellis and Mark.

Travis and Jhana are together again, hand in hand as they journey among the stars.
