Justin Daniel Hodge

Justin Daniel Hodge was born June 15, 1987 in Baltimore Maryland. He spent most of his life in southern Utah. Justin was so special to so many people and truly touched so many lives. He had an energy about him that was infectious. It was impossible to know him and not love him.

He had a passion for music, fast cars, and he was a die hard Washington Commanders fan which he passed on to his boys, "Bleed Burgundy and Piss Gold". Football season was the most fun but stressful time of year in our house. And definitely the loudest. There was always a fear that the cops would get called thinking something horrible was going on, but it was just him cheering on his team or crying if they were losing.

He had a love/hate relationship with music, it was definitely what affected his emotions the most and was also a huge part of his and Kristen's love story. Their favorite nights together were music nights with just the two of them hanging out in the kitchen taking turns picking songs. He had a gift for finding the perfect song to show her how he was feeling. He also loved to tease her when she couldn't remember song titles or band names because his brain was a music encyclopedia.

Justin was the most social, anti social person you could ever meet. He hated leaving their house but when he did, he entertained everyone around him. Even grocery shopping with him was an adventure with him dancing and singing down the aisles.

In more recent years he discovered a love for cruising. He loved cruising with his parents. Justin was not a morning person but he would wake up before the sun to go have coffee with his Pops and watch the sunrise. And as much as he would have loved to just sit on the deck and relax, he even went to some of the shows just to make his Mama T happy and get to spend some time with her. He loved the peace of sitting on the deck watching the ocean, looking for whales, getting away from technology and just enjoying the present moment.

Justin was an amazing provider and protector to those he loved. He worked so hard to provide for his family and loved to take them to concerts or to Vegas just to get away for a bit. He was also a die hard Blink 182 fan and passed that passion on to his boys as well. They really just wanted to be like their Dad. He took them to their first concert, a Blink concert and just solidified that love they had even further.

Justin was there for anyone at any time, no matter what he was going through, if you needed him he would be there. Life will never be the same without him. Justin left this world too soon, in his words "It's not about the age, it's about the use".

Justin is survived by his wife Kristen Hodge, His 5 children Demi Pew (David Sandoval), Erin (Hunter) Redd, Riley Pew (Alek "Boy" Jacobsen), Carson Pew, and Jackson Pew. Siblings Joey Hodge, Jonathan Hodge, and Chris Horn. His parents JD and Tiana Hodge.

He is preceded in death by his mother Julie Voss.
