LILLIAN ROSETTE OLSON LECKRONE KUZMIC

AUGUST 5, 1929 -- December 28,2025

This obituary is being written through the eyes of her 3 daughters. We truly believe she was the most loving, giving, and nurturing mother anyone could hope for.

Mom grew up in Richey MT, one of 14 children, the daughter of Leanard and Vera Olson. She filled her days with laughter, picking potato bugs, wild strawberries, and playing cards.

When Mom was about 6 the family moved to Libby MT Mom married Darrell Leckrone in 1947 until his death in 1975. Together they raised three daughters.

She is survived by the eldest, Theresa(Oscar), Peggy Lee, and Cynthia as well as her grandchildren Brent(Natasha) and Carolyn(Jose). Also step children Jacqueline(Joey), Andrew and Vanessa(Blake) and great-grandchildren Alexander, McKenna, Christopher, Isadora and Liam.

With very little formal education Mom worked many jobs over the years and excelled at all of them. She acquired her GED at 47 and a pilot’s license at 50. Together with her husband Charley Kuzmic they flew over the beautiful skies of the Canadian and Northwestern US.. She and Charley owned a Mercantile store in New Denver BC, Canada until his death.

Mom later moved to Spokane WA. It was there she met Gene Brickner. As a couple they traveled, golfed, and danced as often as possible.

In 2012 Mom moved to Kalispell, MT to live with Peggy Lee. Her life with Peggy was a great comfort and joy for both of them. Their mutual love of gardening resulted in a beautifully landscaped yard in which they spent hours bird watching. Due to Mom and Peggy's ill health, Cindy moved to Kalispell. MT in 2019 to care for them.As the winters in MT didn't suit any of them, Cindy moved them all to St George UT in July of 2025. There, Mom often remarked she was experiencing the best time of her life, in the best weather, and to top it off, enjoying it with her two daughters Peggy Lee, and Cindy. The only regret was that Theresa wasn't living with them. Theresa joined them when she could. Mom accepted that her life may not have been perfect but believed it was close in a million ways!!
