Marsha Lou Woolf Morrow

November 12, 1947 – September 13, 2026

Marsha Lou Woolf Morrow passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026, at the age of 78. Marsha lived the majority of her adult life in Centerville and Bountiful, Utah, before spending the final 18 months of her life in St. George, Utah.

Family was at the heart of Marsha's life. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She treasured the time she was able to spend with them and created memories that will continue to live on through the generations. Marsha was blessed with 40 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Marsha married her high school sweetheart and the father of her children, William Ross. They were married for 17 years, and have always remained friends. She later met Melvin J. Morrow, and their love became an important part of the next chapter of her life. Marsha and Melvin were sealed together in the Salt Lake Temple in August of 1989, becoming eternal companions.

Marsha was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she especially loved spending time in the temple as often as she could. Her devotion to her family and her faith were woven deeply into the way she lived her life.

Marsha had a long and varied working career. For many years, she worked as a beautician, primarily from her home. Her children fondly remember the familiar smell of perm throughout the house several days a week—a simple memory that captures so much of their childhood and their mother. She later began a new chapter in her career as the Recorder for Centerville City, where she worked for 25 years, until her retirement.

Christmas was one of Marsha's favorite holidays. She especially loved collecting manger scenes of all different sizes. Her collection reflected the beauty and meaning she found in the Christmas season, Jesus Christ, and became a special part of her home and family traditions.

Marsha's life was centered around the people she loved. She leaves behind a large and loving family whose lives were touched by her love, faith, and devotion.

She is survived by her son, Chad Ross (Cindi); daughters, Rachelle Ross, Courtney Brough (Gary), and Roslynn Deifel; stepsons, Shawn Morrow (Ashley) and Michael Morrow (Christine); stepdaughters, Shannon Hunger (Neal) and Melanie Fillmore (Brad); sisters, Christine Bird (Brent) and Kathy Heaps (Dale); brother, Jim Woolf; 40 grandchildren; and 41 great-grandchildren.

Marsha was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Woolf; her father, Jack Woolf; her husband and eternal companion, Melvin J. Morrow; her brother, Rob Woolf (Cindy); her sister, Debby Carn (Phil); her stepson, David Morrow; her stepdaughter, Sherilyn Morrow; and her granddaughter, Janice Reay, who fondly shared her same birthdate in November.
