Rhonda Sylvia Kaio was born on December 5. 1958. in Silver Bow Butte, Montana. She was the youngest of four children born to Fae and James Duffy. Everyone knew Rhonda was her dad's favorite. She was born with a high-spirited personality and was adventurous, always looking for some kind of adventure. Rhonda loved people and would talk to anyone. Being the youngest in the family, she loved to wrestle and play with her big brothers.
After high school, Rhonda traveled to Hawaii and attended BYU-Hawaii, where she met Oge, They fell in love and were married on December 24, 1977, in the home she grew up in at Butte Montana. Two years later, they were sealed in the Hawaiian Temple. Together they had four children: Naomi, Sarah, Joanna, and losua. Rhonda was blessed with 15 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and another great-grandchild on the way.
Rhonda was a devoted stay-at-home mother who found her greatest joy in being a mom. She lovingly cared for her family and took pride in making a warm and welcoming home. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and found happiness in taking care of those she loved through the simple, everyday moments of life. She loved to shop, especially for clothes, crazy socks. and shoes. Rhonda also had a great love for animals and always had pets. If one passed away, she felt the need to replace it, as her animals brought her great comfort.
Rhonda loved the Lord Jesus Christ. She read her scriptures every day, attended church faithfully, and taught her children the gospel. The gospel of Jesus Christ was very important to her, especially her belief in having an eternal family. She had a strong understanding of the gospel and served in many callings in the church. Rhonda loved going to the temple and doing temple work. Her favorite calling was ward chorister because of her love of music.
