Sheron Kilpatrick Jacobsen, age 87, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026, in St.George, Utah, due to natural causes.
Sheron was born on March 17, 1939, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Donald G. Kilpatrick and Vera Sturzenegger. She was raised in Bountiful, Utah, where she graduated from Bountiful High School with the Class of 1957. In 1958, while attending the University of Utah, she met William "Bil" K. Jacobsen. The two were married on July 27, 1959, in the Logan Utah LDS Temple, beginning a loving partnership that spanned 67 years.
Sheron devoted many years to her family as a homemaker before pursuing a successful career in sales and operations management with State Stone Corporation. She had a natural gift for connecting with people, forming lasting friendships wherever she went. Her warmth, kindness, and contagious laugh made her beloved by all who knew her.
Sheron is survived by her devoted husband, Bill; her sons, Scott (Kim) and Greg (Lisa).; her grandchildren, Alexis Kimoto, Kenneth Jacobsen, and Clair Jacobsen; and her great-grandchildren, Gavin, Deklan, Sloan, and Madison. She is also survived by her brother, Paul Kilpatrick. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Vera Kilpatrick; her brother, Donald G. Kilpatrick Jr.; and her sister, Carol Southwick,
A celebration of Sheron's life will be held on May 1, 2026, at McArthur Funeral Home. A visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Tonaquint Cemetery. Online condolences and memories may be shared at mcarthurfuneralservices.com.
Sheron will be remembered for her love of family, her genuine kindness, and the joy she brought into the lives of others.
