Tina Marie Tarr, 67, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 24, 2025, in her hometown of St. George, Utah, after facing several years of health challenges. Tina was known for her resilience, her love for her family, and her strength in the face of loss and hardship.

Born on October 1, 1957, Tina was the daughter of Marlene Tait Leany and Blaine Jones. She was born and raised in St. George, and she moved to Las Vegas, NV, as a teenager where she raised her family. Tina devoted more than three decades of her life to working in the medical field.

She is survived by her daughter Maggie Handley (Tarr); her grandchildren Zion Jones, Summer Tarr, Brycsin Handley, and Tenaya Handley; and one great-granddaughter born five days after she passed. She was preceded in death by her sons, Ryan Tarr and Justin Jones; her parents, Marlene and Blaine; and her brother Kelly.

A graveside celebration of life will be held on September 27, 2025 at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Orderville, Utah.
