Will (William) Christopher Dickinson arrived in this world unexpectedly early in May, 1998 and left it unexpectedly early on August 20, 2025. Will was beloved by his family and circle of friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a quick, brilliant mind. He was a natural athlete and a gifted gamer ( old school puzzles and cardboard games and video games) who led his RIT team to win the American Video Game League’s Esports championship for DOTA in 2018. Will was that rare person who was instinctively loved by animals as much as he loved them.
Will graduated with honors from Utah Tech University. He was most recently employed by TCN in St. George, UT. He previously worked at Zonos, Vasion all in St. George and Smart Vision Works in Orem, UT. Will was the coordinator for his team in the St. George Adult soccer league. He was an avid boulderer, pickleball player and enjoyed snowboarding and hiking. He benefited greatly from his time at Techie for Life in UT (now called NeuroDev).
Will leaves behind his parents, Chris Dickinson and Donna Haghighat, his sister Maddy Dickinson (Christian Dicker) his favorite Uncle Dennis Haghighat, Aunts Betsy Motyl (Al Motyl) Diana Haghighat (Gerardo Gutierrez), Debbie Haghighat, his grandmothers, Miki Dickinson and Parvaneh Haghighat and his cousins Miguel Gutierrez and Bella Gutierrez. He was predeceased by his grandfather and namesake William Dickinson and grandfather Ahmad Haghighat.
Despite being surrounded by a community and family that loved him, Will, like so many of our youth today, struggled with depression and found it difficult to ask for support. In Will’s memory, please reach out to a young person and check in with them and share with them how much they are loved. To make donations in his memory, please support the American Foundation for the Prevention of Suicide, Autism Speaks or a local animal shelter near you.
